Siria

This variety has ancient roots in north-west Spain and Northern Portugal. In ternms of total acreage, it is the second most planted white grape variety in Portugal after Fernao Pires.

In northern Spain, it is mainly found in Galicia.

Aromatic, but short-lived wine is made from this grape variety. Aromas tend towards the floral.
